Pay as you go gross sales tax charges for gas will lower but once more in Michigan, for the interval March 1 by March 31, 2015.
February charges had been 12.6 cents per gallon for gasoline and 19.6 cents per gallon for diesel. In March, the pay as you go sales tax charges will likely be as follows:
- Gasoline: 10.0 cents per gallon
- Diesel gasoline: 16.2 cents per gallon
Charges have decreased considerably in the past 12 months.
